WHAT IS THE JUNKYARD?
The Junkyard is a collection of songs that I haven't designated for future albums or songs that come from albums which I no longer intend to make. Making a CD takes an enormous amount of time and money. I kept thinking there's got to be a way to stay fresh, continuously make new music and find new listeners. Pulling together these random songs I've written over the years as well as new songs seemed like the answer.
As an artform, the "album" is dying. While I'm still holding on to the idea of the "concept album", it's not financially or realistically feasible for me to produce all the albums that I would like to. So hopefully, something in my "junkyard" of music will be worth something to you.
